About Us
Capitol Air Systems was founded by two friends (and cousins), Rick Morgan and Mike Mendoza. After spending 30 years in the compressed air and vacuum industry, Rick wanted to do things not only differently, but better. Partnering with Mike, who brought with him the experience and military work ethic he’d honed as a tactical-fighter crew chief for the U.S. Air Force, the two of them founded Capitol Air Systems in 2004. The sole mission of the company was to elevate the service experience in the compressed air and vacuum industry throughout northern California and surrounding states.
Initially, Rick served as a mentor to Mike, teaching him not just the technical side of the business, but more importantly, his vision on how to treat people, from customers to employees. Tragically, Rick passed away soon after the company was founded, leaving Mike to carry on the legacy by applying the lessons he had learned from his mentor and friend.

The lessons paid off.
